We’ve introduced a new Privacy & Trust experience within the Identity Verification (IDV) flow, designed to strengthen user trust, improve transparency, and ensure GDPR-compliant consent collection from the very first step of verification.
What’s new?
Dedicated Privacy & Trust landing page
Before starting verification, end-users are now presented with a standalone Privacy & Trust page that explains:
-
how the identity verification process works,
-
how personal data is collected, processed, and protected,
-
which privacy, security, and compliance standards are applied.
This helps users clearly understand what to expect and builds confidence before they begin the verification journey.

Explicit and auditable Privacy Policy consent
To meet GDPR requirements, users must now explicitly acknowledge iDenfy’s Privacy Policy before proceeding.
If a partner has configured their own Privacy Policy, an additional acknowledgement is displayed. Each consent is captured separately, creating a clear and auditable consent trail.
White-label ready
The Privacy & Trust landing page fully supports white-labeling and automatically adapts to the branding, including colors, ensuring a consistent end-user experience.
Read the documentation to see how to configure Privacy Policy content, consent requirements, and supported languages in your IDV setup.
