Quick Intro

Hi there! This is Gabija, and I’m more than excited to tell you more about my life and my journey at iDenfy. It might sound odd to some, but I’ve always been more of a creative person. That meant I had a lot of different interests.

Since I was little, I have found handicrafts tempting, and it was one of my favorite ways to express myself. But I can’t deny that I don’t like talking to people. As of today, I am making jewelry and, obviously, working as an Account Manager at iDenfy.

Understanding Multiple Viewpoints

I believe that when working with people, it’s absolutely crucial to have a strong sense of empathy to understand them better. Just imagine putting yourself in someone else’s shoes for a quick second. I guarantee that that’ll help you understand people’s situations from their unique perspectives.

So there’s no doubt that empathy is a powerful tool both for helping me connect with clients and my coworkers. Even though it’s not always easy to react with the right level of compassion, I believe you can master the art of empathy, creating true, established relationships while delivering better results for your clients.

Working In a Friendly Environment

What comes to mind when you think about your previous work experiences? For me, most memories circle around people. That’s why compassionate team members are the main priority when looking for any kind of role. Here, I can strongly say that so many talented and interesting individuals surround me.

Once you get to know them, you can easily come to the conclusion that there are a lot of things that you can learn from your colleagues. I now have a team that helps me boost my confidence and improve my communication, especially when it comes to sharing new ideas. We collaborate easily, which is one of the main things that creates this stress-free work environment.

Clearing Your Mind And Moving Forward

As an Account Manager, I work closely with our Sales team to ensure our clients receive the best service tailored to their needs. You can say that I’m the person who acts as a link with other teams to address any concerns our partners may have about their products or services. As with any role in a fast-paced industry like AI and cybersecurity, meeting the client’s expectations while balancing the resources of my company can be difficult.

That’s exactly why it’s okay to admit that everyone has some tasks that are not that pleasant. Rest assured, it’s completely normal. People rather avoid doing it first and keep it for the last, but deep down, many feel anxious, myself included. I’ve learned to complete the more challenging tasks first and keep working on the rest with a clear conscience.

Taking Responsibility For Your Actions

One of the key rules for being a successful team player is to take accountability for your actions. Nobody’s perfect, even if they claim to be. I learned that by being transparent, you achieve personal growth, not to mention earn the trust and respect of your colleagues.

I try to practice self-reflection and take time to think about how to improve my skills. Apologizing if necessary and treating others with kindness is the golden rule I live by. Even though it’s sometimes uncomfortable to receive or leave feedback, constructive criticism helped me grow and land the role I have today at iDenfy.

Striving For Excellence In Life

As I’d like to say – everything or nothing at all.  I often can be a perfectionist and hard on myself, but it also means that I tend to be stubborn and get towards what I am seeking. That’s why I think that it’s a huge mistake to limit your needs and what you want in life, and I want everything, even if it overwhelms me.

Perfectionism has many benefits. It helped me stand out of the crowd and deliver high-quality work. I know I can overthink sometimes, but it just comes with the whole package of wanting to be the most valuable asset in your team. So if you want to achieve your goals, you have to demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Getting to Know Yourself

When I was 16, I had my first paying job as a seamstress’s assistant. Even though I hated it at the time, I was taught that work is an important part that you should value. It is far beyond the importance of getting paid. Through work, you get to know yourself better and find your strongest characteristics. That’s how I learned discipline and grew as a person.

I feel motivated most when I get the sense that I’m trusted. Undoubtedly, it’s a huge responsibility to fulfill the needs of our partners. For this reason, when my ways of working are accepted and appreciated by the clients, it’s a big win for me.

Appreciating Teamwork More

One word that describes iDenfy best is teamwork. Before I became a member of our team, I underestimated the power of having a team. Now, I know for a fact that my colleagues are the reason why our startup is successful. Every day, we unite our strong suits and get even better and bigger. And honestly, I never even imagined such a great workspace and a team in it could exist.

But don’t get me wrong, I appreciate a great me-time. Part of my well-being is feeling safe with myself and my loved ones. That is why my free time is equally important to me. I let myself just sit back, relax and watch my favorite series if that is what I need at the moment. Of course, there are days when I dedicate this time to focus on my knowledge. There has to be a balance.

Figuring Things Out And Feeling Confident

People that feel confident in their own skin deeply inspire me. When you believe in your abilities, you automatically spend less time overthinking your past decisions. I try to use this tactic to prevent myself from second-guessing new ideas, and I move straight to the taking action stage.

Confident people tend to be more open-minded and successful in so many ways that they become inspiring not only for others but for themselves as well. So guys, don’t question your choices – that’ll most certainly make you more successful both personally and professionally.
